How much does a private cam show cost?
Private show prices on cam sites range from under a dollar to over ten dollars a minute. Where you land depends on the site, the performer's rate and how you bought your tokens. Here are real figures and how to work out your own.

All rows use a 30-token private except CAM4, whose tokens cost more, so its privates are usually 6 to 24 tokens a minute. Token prices assume a larger pack. On the smallest pack, add roughly a third.
Some sites have house norms that are higher than 30. MyFreeCams privates usually run about 60 tokens a minute, which is $3 at its best token price. CamSoda privates are commonly 60 to 120 tokens, or about $5.45 to $10.90 a minute.
What sets the price
The performer. On most sites she chooses her own rate. Popular performers charge more, and rates on the same site can differ by ten times.
Your token price. The same 30-token rate costs very different amounts depending on the site and pack, as the table shows.
The show type. Spy is cheapest, then group or ticket shows, then private. Exclusive privates, where nobody can spy, cost the most.
Private, spy, group and cam-to-cam
- Spy / voyeur: watch someone else's private for less. You can't make requests. On xHamster Live spy costs about 9 to 12 tokens a minute.
- Group / gold shows: several viewers share the cost. On Streamate, gold shows cost about $1 to $2.
- Private: one-to-one, though spies may be watching unless it's exclusive.
- Cam-to-cam: the performer can see you. Sometimes included, sometimes extra. On SlutRoulette it's included.
How to pay less
- Sort or filter rooms by private rate before choosing someone.
- Watch a spy show first to see whether a performer's privates are your thing.
- Buy a mid-size or larger pack once, instead of several small ones.
- Agree on what you want in public chat before going private, so you don't pay for minutes of small talk.
- Set a time limit. Minutes go faster than you'd think.
