How the scoring model works — and what its evidence must show
Cam Site Top publishes a weighted editorial model. Its calculation is reproducible, but a correct formula does not validate the observations behind a score. The current platform dataset does not include a complete public evidence log for every input.
Seven weights, one calculation
The model assigns 20% each to value per minute and price transparency, 15% each to free experience and choice, and 10% each to features, payments/privacy and trust/support. Multiply each mark by its fractional weight and add the results. The displayed score is rounded to one decimal.
These are editorial priorities, not a customer-satisfaction average. The worked rating example uses a fictional profile so the arithmetic can be checked without inventing a platform test.
Separate the published dataset from verified observations
The site contains existing platform prices, features and editorial marks. Their presence in a table or JSON file is not independent verification. Complete dated checkout records, device test logs and support correspondence are not available for every claim in the current project. Do not interpret this as a completed test of every paid service.
An aggregator can help identify a question to investigate. It cannot establish our first-hand experience. Statements about universal anonymity, payment acceptance or peak audience size need their own specific evidence, not a homepage link.
What a defensible record needs
- Price: official source, date, account country, currency, pack quantity, final fees and any eligibility restriction.
- Room rate: session type, observed rate, minimum duration and sample context. One room does not establish a platform-wide typical rate.
- Feature: the documented conditions or a reproducible device/browser observation.
- Support: a real dated interaction and its scope, without exposing personal data.
- Score: the observation supporting each criterion and why it warrants that mark.
An unanswered field remains unverified. It must not become zero cost, no restriction or a positive safety claim.
Dates, commercial relationships and corrections
A content-edit date is separate from a price-check date. Calculations based on supplied inputs can be verified while the provider’s current offer remains unverified. We do not refresh a price date merely because the page design changed.
The affiliate disclosure describes commercial links. It does not substitute for factual support or establish how an earlier score was produced. Until the missing provenance is supplied, the affected ratings and provider claims require editorial verification before publication.
Send corrections with the relevant URL, specific statement and supporting source through the corrections page. A correction should update every dependent table and machine-readable record, not only one paragraph.
