Install Cam Site Top and manage its offline pages
You can add Cam Site Top to your phone’s home screen and return to reading pages saved by this browser. Installation is optional. It does not install the platforms we link to, create an account or make live rooms and purchases available offline.
Before you install
Open the site in a regular browser window while connected. Choose the language you want to use, then open a review or article you would like to return to. The app uses the same public pages as the website; there is no separate app-only catalogue.
Use the site’s Add to your phone control in the footer to open installation help. A direct install button appears only when the browser supplies an installation prompt. If it is absent, use the browser’s own menu or continue in the browser.
Add it on iPhone or Android
iPhone: open Safari’s Share menu, choose Add to Home Screen, enable Open as Web App if offered, and confirm. Apple’s current instructions show where Share sits in different layouts.
Android with Chrome: open the browser menu and choose its install or create-shortcut option, then follow the confirmation. See Chrome’s web-app instructions for the current menu.
Afterward, find the Cam Site Top icon and open it. Confirm that the expected language loads, the bottom navigation works and a review opens. A shortcut opening in a browser tab can behave differently from an installed standalone window; the available form depends on the browser and device.
Check what is actually available offline
After opening an article online, return to the same article with the device temporarily offline and confirm that the text appears. This checks that particular saved page in that browser at that time. It does not prove that every link from the article is stored, or that the browser will retain the copy indefinitely.
Expect external sources and platform destinations to require their own network connection. The reading app caches same-origin editorial pages; it is not an offline version of any third-party chat service. If a link leads to a page you have not saved, reconnect and open it before relying on it later.
When returning online, reload a page that contains time-sensitive information. An offline copy reflects saved content, and the article’s update date is not a live price check. For calculations, use current inputs from the relevant checkout rather than assuming that a saved example is an offer.
Clear history and offline pages separately
| Control | What it clears | What it does not clear |
|---|---|---|
| Search → Clear history | Recently viewed platform reviews in this browser | Saved page cache or browser history |
| App panel → Clear saved pages | Saved reading pages and local recent-review history | Browser history, downloads or third-party accounts |
Recent reviews are kept in local browser storage, not synced to a Cam Site Top account. The recent-review list is shared across languages in this browser. Clearing it does not erase all activity on the device. To remove broader traces, use your browser’s own history and site-data controls.
The app shell can remain after clearing reading pages, and revisiting a page online can save it again. Removing the home-screen icon and clearing browser site data are different actions. On a shared device, decide whether a visible icon and saved adult-site review names suit your privacy needs.
Troubleshoot without losing your place
- No install option: open the site in Safari or Chrome rather than an embedded app browser, check whether it is already installed, or keep using the website.
- A page is unavailable offline: reconnect, open that exact page and let it load before trying again. A link alone does not save its destination.
- Old wording appears: reconnect and reload. If the site offers an update button, use it when you are ready to reload the page.
- The recent list is empty: open a platform review. Reading a blog post does not add a platform to that list.
- A third-party room will not open offline: restore the connection; installation does not change that requirement.
If installation or reopening does not work
If the browser does not offer installation, check its own menu and official instructions before looking for an app-store download. The steps differ between Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android. A shortcut and an installed web app can also expose different browser controls, so describe what you see when troubleshooting.
If an installed copy opens an old screen, reconnect, reload and use the site’s update control when one is offered. If the problem persists, test the same address in the regular browser to distinguish a saved-state problem from an unavailable page. Clearing saved data should be a deliberate troubleshooting step: it removes local reading state, and it cannot restore a third-party conversation or cancel a subscription.
On a shared phone, consider the visible home-screen icon and recent pages before installing. Removing the shortcut and clearing the site’s saved data are separate actions; neither is a promise that every record of browsing disappears from the device or network.
Verify the result
A useful setup has three observable results: the icon reopens the site, a previously saved article can be read when the connection is unavailable, and the clearing controls remove the local reading data they describe. Test those actions on your own device because browser storage and installation support differ.
The offline behaviour described here follows Cam Site Top’s service worker and local-history implementation, not a promise about external platforms. For the phone checks to make before using one of those platforms, continue with the five mobile checks.
