CAM4 review 2026: token prices, private costs and our score
Verdict: A good free cam site for amateur and couples shows, with a strong European presence. Tokens are expensive per unit and a card fee applies to each purchase, so buy once and buy big.

CAM4 has been around since 2007 and has a reputation for real amateurs: couples at home, men's rooms, people who clearly aren't in a studio. It's free to watch and has one of the biggest couples sections we track. Its tokens are expensive, though, and card purchases carry a fee.

What tokens cost
Swipe to compare more columns
| Pack | Price | Per token |
|---|---|---|
| 60 tokens | $11.95 | $0.199 |
| 120 tokens | $23.95 | $0.200 |
| 250 tokens | $49.95 | $0.200 |
| 600 tokens | $99.95 | $0.167 |
There's no bulk discount until the $99.95 pack. Add the card fee, and frequent small top-ups get expensive. One larger purchase keeps the fee down.
Why the rates look low
Because each token costs about twice as much, CAM4 room rates in tokens are lower to match. Privates usually run 6 to 24 tokens a minute. A 12-token private costs about $2.00 to $2.40 a minute, depending on the pack. Don't compare CAM4 rates in tokens with Chaturbate's. Compare in dollars. Our calculator does it for you.
Where it falls short
High per-token price, a card fee on every purchase, and lower private-minute value than BongaCams or Chaturbate.
Who should use CAM4
Free viewers who want amateur and couples shows. If you plan to spend, the same money goes further on BongaCams or Chaturbate.
For gay viewers
CAM4 has a large men's section with a strong amateur feel. Public rooms are free with no account. See our gay cam sites ranking.
